Dang. T. Thao is a promising young associate at Herman, Henry & Dominic.  Despite her young age, Dang T. Thao has quickly become an integral part of the team, lending invaluable support to the firm’s partners across various sectors.  As she continues to support various complex deals, we anticipate her further growth and believe she has the potential to become a successful partner in the future.

Support in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

Dang T. Thao’s assistance in M&A cases has been notable.  She supported partners in advising a Fintech company, enabling it to become the first in its sector to acquire a securities firm.  Additionally, she contributed to a significant merger between a prominent Vietnamese advertising company and a major industry player in China.  Dang T. Thao’s role in fundraising, such as in a Series B round worth USD 25 million, has also been noteworthy.

Contribution to Financing Deals:

In financing, Dang T. Thao’s support in several key deals stands out.  She aided in a green bond issuance transaction worth USD 20 million, backed by the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF).  She played a role in a USD 30 million loan conversion deal, recognized among the top 50 deals in 2021-2022 by the 14th Vietnam M&A Forum.  Recently, she assisted a partner in advising on the extension of a Facility Agreement with a value of up to USD100 million.

Assistance in Transactional Deals:

Thao T. Dang has shown a knack for supporting high-stakes transactional deals.  Her work included providing assistance in the acquisition of a USD 70 million private jet.  She also helped with the restructuring of a group of companies, showcasing her understanding of complex corporate structures.
